Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten begin this Monday, August 25th.
Classes will be held in the renovated Murphy Center (Crusader Academy), 302 E. Walnut St. We will be using the NORTH side of Walnut for drop off and pick up throughout the day. There will no longer be parking available on the NORTH side of Walnut Street for the weekday morning Masses. We apologize for the inconvenience, but our children’s safety is of utmost importance. Wisdom Day
A Celebration of Catholic Senior Citizens Monday, September 29, 8:30 am—3:00 pm. The day includes Speakers, Attendance Prizes and Lunch. There is no cost, but due to limited space, reservations are necessary. Reservations must be called in by September 22nd. 424-5536 or 1-800-637-1731.

Update on Start of Religious Education
Due to the parish feast day on September 14th, the preschool religious education program will delay by one week and start on September 21st.

Baptismal Prep Class
Next Baptismal Prep Class is Tuesday, November 11, 6:30 pm at Holy Cross Please contact the office to register. Parents are required to attend a class session before their child is to be baptized. Godparents are also encouraged to attend.

Holy Cross School Alumni News
We are looking for names of Holy Cross School Alumni who are deceased since 2007. We want to include them in our prayer for the Masses on Alumni Weekend, September 13 & 14. Casino Night—October 4
HELP!! Donations for the Chinese and Si-lent Auctions are lagging behind. Thank you to those of you who have brought items in, but we really need much more to make this an interesting and fun night! Volunteers are also needed to work that night. Call 753-3548.

Forty Hours Devotion @ St. James
St. James will be having a Forty Hours Devotion the weekend of Sept. 19, 20, & 21. It opens with a Youth Mass on Friday at 6 pm with Adoration starting after Mass and continuing through the night and day and weekend until closing on Sunday at 2 pm. There will be a Mass at 8 am on Saturday.

Registration for Parish Picnic—Sept. 14th
The annual Parish Picnic is Sunday, September 14th in conjunction with Alumni Weekend. Dinner will be served at 11:30 am. All food will be furnished, but we ask that you bring lawn chairs and your own drinks. Deadline for reservations is Monday, September 8th. Reservation slip is in the bulletin, you may call the office to make your reservation, or E-mail admin@holycrossparish.info with your name, address and the number of adults and children attending. Entertainment will follow dinner.
