Music Ministry
Music is...
the poetry of our worship. It is an integral part of our prayer. Singing out, like speaking up and reaching out, gives witness to our faith. Through the prayer of song, we express our faith with others around us in rhythms, in melodies and even with our bodies. And remember; “He who sings, prays twice”
The Ministry of Music is alive within Holy Cross.
PARISH! You are invited to take an active role in spreading the excitement of music within our parish family.
All of us, young and old, are encouraged to spread the ministry of music throughout our parish. I invite you to consider serving in the ministry of Music, whether as a choir member, cantor or instrumentalist.
If you have once thought about joining a choir, but don't know what to expect, why not come to a rehearsal or two and see how much fun you're missing! Consider joining the Choir when we start back up in September.
The Music Ministry is always looking for proficient instrumentalists to accompany the assembly in their sung prayer.
Whether you play a woodwind, stringed, brass or percussive instrument, the Music ministry welcomes you!
