Fr. Christopher Droste, Pastor |
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Fr. Christopher, Fr. Betz and Fr. Luke called parishioners who are in nursing homes or assisted living communities and those who are housebound. With the start-up of public Masses and the phasing in of reopening Indiana, Fr. Christopher would like to invite parishioners to continue this ministry of contacting fellow parishioners. Many of these folks are struggling with isolation and not being able to see their families. A call from a friendly and familiar voice would brighten their day. A list of contact information will be provided to volunteers. Please contact the parish office (753-3548) if you are interested in joining this ministry.
Act of Spiritual Communion
During this time, the faithful are encouraged to make an act of spiritual communion. When unable to receive the Eucharist, the faithful can pray for Jesus to enter their heart spiritually, that they may be filled with the graces they miss in the sacrament . |
