All families of Holy Cross School are official members of the Booster Club. A Booster is any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, principal, and/or friend of a student from Holy Cross School or from Crusader Academy.
The Holy Cross Boosters is a club that works to ensure that all of our students receive the most from their Catholic Education. They finance many of the activities and projects that keep our school competitive and current with the educational movements. The Boosters are lead by a team of four elected members, each serving a 2-year term, called the Booster Officers. The officers work to coordinate 3 meetings per school year. During these meetings crucial information is provided to achieve the goals set forth each year. The success of our school is dependent on the efforts of the Boosters, the participation of the parents with the Booster programs, and on the time and talents that each school family provides. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend all meetings of the Booster Club throughout the school year and to get involved with the school. Some ways to get involved are: uniform resale pgm, staff Christmas luncheon, Ft. Branch parade, field day, school/church lighted sign helper, help with Teacher Appreciation week, coordinate turtle making shift. Contact the Booster president if you are interested in getting involved. We can always use the extra hands! |

The major fundraising event each year for the Boosters is the Holy Cross Homemade Bavarian Chocolate Turtles event. From ordering supplies - to cooking up the caramel - to melting the chocolate - to assembling each piece of candy, our homemade turtle making fundraiser is an unbelievable experience! Approximately 3,000 pounds of candy are made during November each year. School spirit and fellowship are key rewards with this event. This fundraiser takes LOTS of hours in preparing for the making days and LOTS MORE hours in creating these tasty candies. Because of this, each school family is expected to donate a minimum of 8 hours time. Any more time your family can give is greatly appreciated. This fundraiser does take a lot of time and a lot of volunteers, but it is a HUGE financial success for our school!

All who help will encounter the true meaning of "fellowship"!
